Our lodge is tucked away in the rugged hills of the Eastern Cape, about a two-hour drive north of East London Airport. It’s not five-star — and that’s exactly how we like it. This is a lodge built for hunters, by hunters

We can accommodate up to 10 guests sharing, making it ideal for groups, families, or friends. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, warm, and welcoming — the kind of place you actually want to come back to after a long day in the bush.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need — and nothing you don’t:

Warm running water and hot showers
A backup generator, so the lights stay on when Eskom doesn’t
A cozy fireplace surrounded by African hunting trophies
An open-plan kitchen where you can watch the chef prepare your meals
An upstairs lounge, bar, and dining area — perfect for evenings of laughter and storytelling
A large outdoor boma with a crackling fire and the scent of acacia and sweet thorn wood hanging in the air
Wi-Fi — so you can send a message to your loved ones, let them know you’re safe… and tell them you just found your second home

This isn’t a hotel. It’s not polished.
